Selectmen's Minutes 4/24/07
The weekly meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Tuesday evening, April 24, 2007 at 7:34 p.m.
 
Present:             Theresa McNulty, Chairman; David Walsh, Clerk; Peter Hamilton
George Samia, Town Administrator; Catherine Johnson, Senior Clerk
 
Ms. McNulty opened the meeting with a moment of silence for Ms. Wilma Almar, a beloved citizen who, at 92, passed, and who was a teacher at the Central School, the Intermediate School, as well as a longtime member of the Historical Commission.
 

Appointment

 
Town Clerk, Finance Committee, Town Accountant, Town Treasurer and Town Council were present to discuss and close the May 14, 2007 Special Town Meeting Warrant.

M/Walsh, s/Hamilton, a unanimous vote, approve the appointment of Barbara W. Rubin as an Associate Member of the Historical Commission through June 2010 and Robert Waterman effective immediately through June 2008, as a member, with the recommendations of the Historical Commission.
 
M/Walsh, s/Hamilton, a unanimous vote, approve to Passover Action Item # 3.
 
M/Walsh, s/Hamilton, vote to disband the Sachem Rock Farm Committee, effective immediately.
